The lack of dirty talking (c'mon! It's in the title! I need more than one line, here), the utterly out of nowhere conflict (the hero's issue, which isn't mentioned until he needs some emotional reason for being a dillhole), and the fact that I never really felt invested in either MCs left this a pretty flat read for me. By no means objectionable, just not anything to rave about. It gets a very solid "meh."
